About TechMeasured
TechMeasured covers the technology that matters — AI, security, gadgets, open source, science and the business behind it — with one rule: measure twice, publish once.
We are not trying to be first. We are trying to be right, useful and worth your time. If a story is just a press release with a new headline, we skip it.
What we publish
- News and analysis — what happened, why it matters, and what you should actually do about it.
- Reviews — our Measured Verdicts. Each review states exactly how it was produced: hands-on testing, or a synthesis of published hands-on reviews, specifications and pricing. We never pretend to have tested something we haven't.
- Repos — the most interesting new projects on GitHub, explained in plain English with a "try it" command.
Editorial standards
- Every story links to its sources. Primary sources (company posts, filings, papers, repositories, advisories) come first; reporting from other outlets is credited and linked.
- Claims are attributed. When a figure comes from a company, we say so. When it hasn't been independently verified, we say that too.
- AI-assisted, human-accountable. We use AI tools to help find, research and draft stories. Every article is checked against its sources, and the sources are listed so you can check our work.
- No paid placement. Coverage can't be bought. If we ever use affiliate links, they are marked.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change at the bottom of the article. Spot an error? Tell us — we read everything.
