We collect as little as possible.

• No ad trackers, no third-party analytics scripts. Pages load only our own code.
• View counts are anonymous counters per article. To avoid double-counting we briefly store a one-way hash of your IP address for 30 minutes, then discard it.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe we store your email address, the date and which signup form you used. We use it only to send the newsletter. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
• Sharing buttons are plain links. Nothing is sent to social networks unless you click one.
• Cookies: none for readers. A session cookie is used only when site editors log in.
