How we make money
Our affiliate disclosure, and the rules that keep commissions out of our rankings.
Some links on this site are affiliate links (currently HeadshotPro, Aragon, Dreamwave, Namecheap and Dynadot): if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never affect our rankings or verdicts. We haven’t tested these tools ourselves; we compare their published terms and real user reports.
How affiliate links are marked
Every affiliate link is labelled “(affiliate link)” next to it and carries rel="sponsored". All other outbound links are ordinary links to the company’s own pages or to our sources.
How rankings are decided
- Order of importance: refund terms, then privacy, then price transparency, then turnaround, then the pattern of user complaints.
- We never rank by commission. A company that becomes an affiliate partner keeps the position it had before it joined.
- We don’t give scores or star ratings, and we don’t claim hands-on testing.
- Every price shows the date we checked it. When a company doesn’t publish something, we write “not stated”.
Our own products
The site’s owner also runs his own products, including Desire AI and DNS Record Check. When they appear on this site they are labelled as ours and are never included in a ranking.
