What users complain about
Trustpilot shows 4.7/5 from 3,612 reviews (Trustpilot page, counted 18 October 2026). Recurring complaints:
- One user said their photos were deleted after a few weeks with no warning email (this matches the documented 30-day auto-delete, so download what you want to keep). (review)
- A user said expression edits (“smiling”, “confident”) produced near-identical results. (review)
- A user said most results added stray moles and skin artifacts. (review)
- r/headshots users call HeadshotPro among the most realistic but say about half the results were unusable. (Reddit)
- An r/AI_Application user reported a refund processed in about 30 minutes. (Reddit)
- An r/PCPicker comparison notes HeadshotPro has no post-generation fixes beyond its credits. (Reddit)
Overall value verdict
HeadshotPro has the lowest clear entry price ($29), the most generous published refund terms here (a 30-day Realism Guarantee on top of a 14-day no-download refund), and a short, documented retention period. That mix of refunds, privacy and price puts it first. Image quality is something we haven’t judged.
