Privacy and data use
For personal plans, “Improve the model for everyone” is on by default; turn it off in Settings > Data controls. Temporary Chats aren’t used for training and are kept for up to 30 days. Business and Enterprise data isn’t used for training by default.

Overall value verdict
ChatGPT has the widest price ladder and a cheap $8 entry plan, but personal-plan chats are used for training unless you opt out, and the Go plan may carry ads. Turn off “Improve the model for everyone” or use Temporary Chat for anything sensitive.
